TPSynergy Electronic Kanban system is a mobile smart manufacturing system. It is the electronic version of the Just in Time (JIT) Two bin manufacturing system.
The process of doing TPSynergy electronic Kanban is as below
1. Generate bar code for each item from TPSynergy application. System will generate one bar code for each item. These bar codes can be printed on small labels or large sheets and attached to the bin where material is stocked.
2. When a bin becomes empty, the bar code on the bin is scanned with a mobile device. This will send an email alert to the supplier that the bin has become empty. Supplier will start preparing the bin and send it .
3. The same bar code is scanned again to mark the bin as fully.
4. This process keeps running as the bin becomes full and empty.
